Building Rentals

Please call 503-674-7262 to schedule your event. Rooney Barker is available to speak with you from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursdays. If you call at a different day or time, please leave a voice mail message and she will return your call when she returns.

The Sam Cox Building
The Sam Cox and Annex Buildings are available for weddings, birthdays, family reunions, retirement parties, and other similar functions year round. The parking lot accommodates 100 vehicles. The building rental does not include the open park area.

The Sam Cox Building is 2,550 square feet in size and holds 170 people. Included with the Sam Cox Building rental:

22 tables that fold out to 6-foot lengths (4 have benches attached)
100 chairs
Sound system hookup to the stage
Stage
Arbor
Benches in the meadow area
Kitchen with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, commercial ice machine, and pizza oven
A wedding can be held in the meadow area outside the Sam Cox Building.

The open park area other than the meadow area cannot be reserved. The Annex is 1,235 square feet in size and holds 82 people. Included with the Annex rental:

Large table that folds out into four
22 chairs
No access to the kitchen

Included with the covered shelter rental:

Six picnic tables
Barbeque
Electrical hookup

Potential renters who want to view the building(s) before renting should contact the caretaker at 503-666-5304 to arrange a time. The caretaker can also explain the operation of the sound system.

The City Conference Building
The City Conference Building is available for training classes and meetings for a fee. The Conference Room holds 19 people and the Activity Room holds 100.
