The Solid Waste and Recycling Division provides coordination, education, and management services related to residential and commercial solid waste, collection, disposal and recycling.
The City of Troutdale holds a franchise agreement with a private waste hauling company for Solid Waste and Recycling hauling services. Waste Management of Oregon is the current waste hauling contractor under franchise with the City of Troutdale. The Civil Engineer manages the franchise agreement with the City's contracted waste hauling company.
