Paint Smart Program

Do you have some latex or oil-based paint that you would like to get rid of? Thanks to Miller Paint and the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, you don't need to go any further than Powell Boulevard to recycle your old paint. Miller Paint, located at 1831 E. Powell Blvd. in Gresham, will accept old latex and oil-based paint at its' store. The paint must be from households only and be in gallon-sized or smaller containers. No more than ten containers per day per household will be accepted. Please be sure to follow the simple steps listed below.

  • Seal the lids tightly so the cans don't leak.
  • Keep paints in their original containers and leave the labels on the cans.
  • Never mix paints.

Bring in your paint only during store hours which are Monday through Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. All paint containers must be examined by store staff. For more information visit Miller Paint online.

Buy Recycled Paint & Save

Save some money and help the environment by buying recycled latex paint from Metro. Metro collects latex paint, which they re-blend and package into 1-gallon and 5-gallon buckets for low prices.
